The annual Sweden "Lighting of the Evergreen"

“Last night’s annual Sweden ‘Lighting of the Evergreen’ was another spectacular event that was well attended by our community. We even saw many of our summer people.

I would like to thank everyone that helped put this event together by shoveling, putting up lights and decorations, did a cooking demonstration, answered questions regarding local history, unlocked doors to get to candles in historic buildings, placed luminatirs along the path, played at thye musical program, people who brought food from their kitchens to the Sweden Food Pantry and Sam Black for once again ringing the Sweden Community Church bell.”
